Hello, Dermaroller can be done at home but effect of 0.5 mm on face is minimal. Also microneedling is a better option than dermaroller as it causes some skin damage due to oblique skin entry. Better to get it done with dermatologist with numbing cream and sterile environment.

Dermaroller for face you will need 0.75 or 1 mm it needs topical anesthetic cream and does cause pinpoint bleeding so a lot of sterility is required to prevent infection.
