Hello, Derma roller or microneedling are good option for collagen induction and reduce scar. Dermapen is better than dermaroller as roller tend to damage skin little due to oblique entry of needles. Microneedling is a safe procedure will need 6-8 sessions and can expect moderate results. You can consult in private with photographs to assess if you are a good candidate for microneedling.

Hello, Dermaroller can be done at home but effect of 0.5 mm on face is minimal. Also microneedling is a better option than dermaroller as it causes some skin damage due to oblique skin entry. Better to get it done with dermatologist with numbing cream and sterile environment.

Hello, Dermaroller can be used but causes more dermal damage as needles enter and exit obliquely alternatively microneedling with derma pen is better. Dermaroller for face you will need 0.75 or 1 mm it needs topical anesthetic cream and does cause pinpoint bleeding so a lot of sterility is required to prevent infection. Its not ideal to do it at home. Consult a dermatologist.
