ankylosing spondylitis is a painful condition, it is type of chronic arthritis, to be more scientific, it's seronegative spondyloarthropathy mainly affecting spine and sacro iliac joint and later large joints, ligaments etc

Hello, in fourth degree injury no injection give any relived.
Truly speaking I am suffering from just similar complaints. Exactly same. So my doctor advice physiotherapy to strength the thigh muscles. Igot lot of relief. But knee to replace is sure shot. Yet we could not make it. N unable to go for physiotherapy.
So don't believe on any inj results high or low price.
Only pain killer till you arrange knee replacement.

1.medication -mild pain pin killers like simple paracetamol/ collagen
2. Physical therapy having good results
If pain is persistent then minimally invasive pain procedures like
Injecting viscoelastic in the joint
PRP platelet rich plasma injection
Cooled radiofrequency ablation

Cervical spondylitis is common at your age. By changing medications might not help you much. Ultracet will cause nausea, giddiness too.
You need more physio and safe medications.
Hope he did MRI scan, to see weather anything can be done surgically. Otherwise injections to neck will be much helpful.
