You can use dmpa but you l have in between spotting and no periods infertility doesn't happen with it. But long term use is not recommended you can take oral contraceptive pills from the govt hospital. They are free of cost or little charge. That is a safer option.

There may be irregular bleeding or heavy bleeding following insertion of iucd. If it doesn't stop after taking medicine ,you should consult a local gynaecologist.

Usually you can just note it completed 1st menses after putting it. Else seek from your treating Dr. Now a days just medicated rubber ring works better as it demands no skilled person to insert in vagina you can do it own seek support from your gynaecologist.

The IUD contains hormones in it and that causes this and many other side effects...
Even PID... which is very difficult to treat then.
My suggestion is to use condoms which is best contraceptive.

Definitely, There will not be cancer as you suspected but if you are experiencing what you said, consult a doctor. Do a tvs scan to know whether copper t is in position. If not please remove it.
