Firstly, you have to look for any source of bleeding within mouth or gum. You did not tell if your mother has high blood pressure or if she is on any antiplatelet (blood thinner) medications. These may cause blood in cough or vomitus. If your mother has any bleeding source within mouth consult any dentist. Also check blood for Complete hemogram and PT, INR and consult your physician. Wish you and your mother good health.

Hi,
Take tab. Swasakuthara Ras 1 tab. 3 times a day and Vasarista 2tsf 3 times a day after diluting with equal quantity of water. Avoid cold and refrigerated food, sweets and oil fried food. Wear warm clothing.

Hello Lybrate user, your gums are infected and that is this is the reason for blood in your saliva after chewing hard food. Normal protocol to treat such cases is a course of antibiotic and an antibacterial mouthwash followed by ultrasonic scaling and polishing (which is is actually cleaning of teeth surface). Any dentist can perform this procedure. Hope this helps.

If the cut is deep you need to visit a dentist and see if it needs a suture. Please take the medication prescribed by the dentist. If the pain is very severe you can take a painkiller till the time you are able to visit a dentist.
