My mom just witnessed blood in her mouth. The blood came suddenly without cough or vomit. She has not felt any pain and is just feeling some weakness. I am tensed. What could be the problem?

Firstly, you have to look for any source of bleeding within mouth or gum. You did not tell if your mother has high blood pressure or if she is on any antiplatelet (blood thinner) medications. These may cause blood in cough or vomitus. If your mother has any bleeding source within mouth consult any dentist. Also check blood for Complete hemogram and PT, INR and consult your physician. Wish you and your mother good health.

Hello Lybrate user, your gums are infected and that is this is the reason for blood in your saliva after chewing hard food. Normal protocol to treat such cases is a course of antibiotic and an antibacterial mouthwash followed by ultrasonic scaling and polishing (which is is actually cleaning of teeth surface). Any dentist can perform this procedure. Hope this helps.

If the cut is deep you need to visit a dentist and see if it needs a suture. Please take the medication prescribed by the dentist. If the pain is very severe you can take a painkiller till the time you are able to visit a dentist.

My outer eye is red but I have checked with ent specialist and he didn't find any infection in inner ear. My throat is also sore and red, for 2 weeks. It hurts not much but a little. Female age: 18 height: 5’7 weight: 65-67 kg on 26 june 2022 I threw up blood for the first time (fresh blood and just containing blood, no sort of fluid but only fresh red blood) within some minutes I got severe chest pain and it was unbearable kept throwing since that day to this day. I was admitted to the emergency room they told me it happens sometimes so they let me go. At the start I used to throw up around 7-11 times in a day, I was admitted in the hospital again. The doctors thought it would be a tear so they started giving me medicines for that. My blood tests showed that I had blood deficiency and a bit of inflammation, I got almost all tests done and the doctor could’t catch the cause for all this. I did an endoscopy and they diagnosed me with mild gastritis but nothing that severe that would cause me bleeding. The doctors recommended me to get a chest xray, they had their doubts about my lungs so they started treating me with medicines for that. The medicines didn’t help and it didn’t stop my bleeding. I then went to an ent and he did my nose and throat endoscopy, he diagnosed me with a scratched throat and said it was probably because of that that I was bleeding. The ent gave me another course of medicines and they still did not help me any way. After that the doctors had doubt that I may have blood cancer but all the tests for that were clear, then there were doubts about liver problems but my liver was healthy as well. So they kept on treating me for problems within my lungs, I stopped taking those medicines and iv lines cause they did not work. My doctors told me they had no idea what was wrong with me and they were’t even sure if they had made the right diagnosis. Since that I have not went to a doctor nor am I taking my medications anymore. Symptoms:⁃ throwing up blood 2-4 times a day ⁃difficulty breathing ⁃chest pain ⁃dizziness and fatigue ⁃body pain⁃stomachache ⁃difficulty swallowing and eating ⁃headaches ⁃nausea medical history:⁃march 2019, left side brain hemorrhage things that make it worse -eating meat ⁃eating spicy food ⁃exhaustion ⁃working too much (playing, running, walking for a bit too long, etc) ⁃stress ⁃high altitudes type of pain:- sharp pain right in the middle of my chest (feels like a pointy nerve pain, that's the best I can explain)

Steam inhalation two times.
Betadine gargle add 5 ml solution in hot to warm water gargle it before meal two times and spite it out.
Augmentin duo 625 two times a day after food for five days. Zerodol sp three times a day after food for five days.
Montek lc one at night for five days. Ambrodyl s syrup 5 ml twice, 10 ml at night. Light diet plenty of luckwarm water.

Is it true if food stuck in throat for 4 mins and went after drinking water or while eating food if you talk, cough, or squeeze or shout food go into appendix? Is it true sir. I hear food will not go to appendix like that appendix will come food after crossing small intestine and stool going into big intestine it will go to appendix. take maximum liquid diet. or semiliquid khichadi porridge rice dal poha upma in small amount.
mucaine gel 10 ml without water when ever you feel burning. no side effects.
pan d one in empty stomach for five days.
emset4 md to put under toung it dissolves with saliva nothing by mouth till 30 min to stop vomiting.

I have chronic ulcer problem, I continuously feel pain, in area just below my chest, and the pain sometimes spreads to my arms and legs, and my back (pain is in back area in line with the spine) did endoscopy, was diagnosed with bile reflux, but medicine ive used works temporarily then becomes ineffective, ive used epirax, ursodiol, bromazepam but they do not seem to be curing the pain.
