Dear Hayat
Anxiety Stress patients worry too much...Stress In today’s day & age where stress is high, feelings of frustration can emerge. It is our perception that can change our current negative situation into a healthy & positive one. Another way of perceiving these feelings of frustration can be by looking at them as an opportunity to push ourselves to go that little extra mile until we achieve our objective. However, there are times when we all can go around in circles; and being in this...more

Don't rely on medication alone. I would specifically want you to learn about emotions, especially anger and fear, and how t...more

Dear Parminder,
Side effects depends on many factors. In an otherwise healthy person, these tablets may not cause any troublesome side effect at all. They are at a very low dose. After 2-3 weeks, please consult the doctor again. She/he will increase the dose to an effective dose.

Hello lybrate-user
your doctors advice is right
ativan and lonazep both are benzodiazepines which cause dependence. Meaning you can get addicted to them.
In the long term the addiction will result in memory disturbances, gait disturbances etc which you must avoid right now.
Reduce it slowly over two months but do reduce it.
