If a dermatologist feels it is safe, then most likely OK. But all moles do not need to be removed. Most people have up to 40 moles on their body.
If a mole is changing colors, enlarging, bleeding, or painful, then it needs to be removed. But whenever I removed a mode, I always sent it to the pathologist for evaluation, even though I had a laser in the office.
