Your Doctor has to treat the root cause of the headache and not the symptom -Headache alone .Your Dr. Has to treat the reversible causes and triggers for headache first before even medicating you. The cause for the headache may not be in your head it can be due to problems arising elsewhere in the body like Gastrointestinal issues, BP ,food sensitivity, Stress, Eye, Sinus problems ,Environmental toxins. They can be the cause either alone or in combination. Do not blindly believe your Dr. because he may have vested monetary interests. Always take second opinion if you do not want to get misguided .Change your doctor for sure if he is asking you to do CT and MRI Scans for Migraine, and If he is not answering your questions properly, and is rushing through your appointment ,is not educating you about the disease and not offering alternative options which can cure .Migraine is an autoimmune disease treated correctly by finding the root cause and treating them. If the root cause still persists it will create havoc in other organs like Thyroid, Joints,Brain, Bowel etc and you are susceptible to several other severe autoimmune diseases. The triggers for migraine are numerous which includes food, water, toothpaste, kitchen utensils cooking oils, groceries,, cosmetics ,weather, plastics etc Your headache will remain if your Doctor 1) Has not taken detailed dietary, lifestyle, environmental, occupational, medical and not identified the triggers. 2) Not done the comprehensive complete lab testing which should include tests for inflammation, mineral and vitamin deficiency. These 2 steps needs to be done correctly before suggesting the correct treatment. Take a. Consultation after sending feedback with name and contact number .Find the triggers of your headache and eliminate them All diseases begin in the gut. U can not treat what U can not find ,First step is you have to find the issue for which a consultation is needed.
