Adjust the computer display to cool Go for eye check up. Adjust your glasses a bit lower on your nose while on computer. There are some exercise and home remedy for relaxation of eyes. Take care.

It's temporary relief as it is not going to prevent next attack In general you can do the following-- 1. Take adequate night sleep 2. Eat at regular intervals. As starvation/gas can trigger migrain 3. Avoid things that can trigger migrain. Common triggers include alcohol, caffeine or poor sleep. Inculcate good sleep practices like having a regular bedtime schedule and avoiding naps, caffeine and TV before bedtime. 4. Don't take stress- Pursue an enjoyable activity or verbalising frustration to reduce stress and improve mental health. 5. Avoid foods that you know triggers your migrain. 6. I am having migraine from last 7-8 years. I checked my eyes 3-4 times from then and it seems good but sometimes I see flashes in my vision and it last for half hour or hour then it goes. It causes nausea and uneasiness for all day. It prevents me to use digital devices for next 2-3 days because it gets irritating to see those flashes. I have been consulting to doctor and he gave me betacap TR. I am taking it from last 3 months and now it is feeling better. I didn't had any episode. But now I am worried to continue using the tablet! Will it cause any problems?

1.Sleep.Go to bed and get up about the same times every day, 3. Eat regular meals. 4. Drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration 5. Relax – listen soothing music. Dear friend, I understand want to know life style measures to reduce migraine frequency, intensity and duration. Migraine patients should try to follow a routine based lifestyle which should include timely diet intake, sound sleep, regular aerobic exercise, using relaxation techniques and utilizing biofeedback mechanism. There are many migraine triggers. As you enquired about specific food items let me name them: Alcohol,chocolate, aged cheeses, caffeine,nuts etc. But besides these there are other food items which may precipitate headache and we have noticed they are person specific. However, please let me tell you instead of avoiding triggers, the latest technique is learning to cope with triggers (Research still in process. You may also plan to maintain a headache dairy: which will keep a record of frequency, duration and intensity of headache. If you unsatisfied, may need to start a prophylactic medication besides the required sos pain relievers and other non pharmacological measures as measured. Please remember migraine is not curable but it is definitely controllable! Hope I am able to answer your queries. Wish you all the best.
