Sir I am going to appear for nda 1 2021 and I had put my braces on 3 jan 2020 becoz of deepbite there are approximately 4 to 5 months remaining for my medicals so what should I do will it be fine (a bit) so it may not cause trouble in medicals and sir I should go for ssb (after that medicals) after opening braces or not.

Not all braces treatment requires removal of teeth. You will need to be evaluated clinically to determine the need for the same. Also, the caps on teeth might need to be looked at if you want to opt for the braces treatment.

I got my braces off new days ago. The doctor gave me hawley retainers though the fitting of the retainer is good still I don't fill comfortable in them. It triggers my anxiety. Can I get clear plastic retainers instead and use both the retainers according to my comfort?

Yes you can go for clear retainers like essix retainers or else you can go for fixed lingual retainer also. Fixed means you no need to remove everytime you use. So it's the best retainer.

Can I resume my treatment with another orthodontist? If so can I get the same result? I don't have any records of my treatment, still can I continue with another doctor?

Hello, lybrate-user yes you can, based on the fact the orthodontist who will commence with the treatment, will be his own new way of treating, so basically you will have to forget, the earlier treatment. And start it with a new orthodontist in a new way. Hope you find it beneficial.

I have put my braces on october 22 2019 and my 4 premolars were extracted on february 2020. But after that due to pandemic I couldnt visit my orthodontist, so my elastics (e chains) were put on this september 14. How long will it take to close the gaps and move the teeth backward? I will already complete one year of braces on this october and there is no improvement in my overbite till now.
