There are no medications which work for prevention of chicken pox once contact has already taken place. Chicken pox vaccine is available normally given at age of 1 year. And booster dose at 10 years. Or any age. But in present case may not work as viral transmission has already taken place. Those who have 1. Taken this vaccine in childhood and a booster dose and 2. Those who had already got chicken pox earlier will not get chicken pox again.

Normally one attack of chickenpox gives life long immunity to chickenpox, meaning no repeat attack. Your one year child which has chickenpox will also not get it again even if she comes in any contact.
