Hello doctor I am facing infertility for the last 2 years. At the start, I was having problem of immature follicles even after taking fertility drugs but with time development of mature follicles were found. My hsg reports were also perfect. Also, my husband's tests are normal. I have two dominant follicles of size 27�30 and 22�24. What are the chances of pregnancy this month? I had also taken hcg on day 12. I am taking slix sachet, metformin and biotin for three months (after this treatment follicles are getting mature). My prolactin found high later (at start it was normal). And from the last three months, I am taking letrozole with different doses as well. What should I do next? Should I follow the instructions of my current gynecologist or should I change it? Furthermore, I have done 4 cycles of clomid and four cycles of letrozole following my gynecologist's prescription.

Please have patience. Sometimes it takes longer time to conceive. You can discuss about iui-h with your doctor, as tubes are patent and hsa is normal, as you mentioned.

Fertomid causes egg formation for ovulation. So, it causes hormonal irregularities too. Bleeding can b explained by that.

I am under fertility treatment. I was given clomid from day 2-6 of my last month periods (25th may. And had undergone follicular study as well. My egg was ruptured on day 14th. After some days I am taking duphaston till now. Though my cycle length is of 30 days but I started having spotting a week before my expected date. Even now my periods has not started, only brown spotting. I am very tensed. Is it a sign of coming periods. Or is there any chance of conceiving in this cycle.

if you are spotting when taking duphaston, better to check upt and inform your doctor. Depending on the result of upt, your doctor will guide you whether to stop the duphaston tablet or to continue it.

I have to undergo ivf embryo transfer, my lh is 18.5 and estradiol is 24.6 in day 2 and lh is 24.6 and estradiol is 52 in day 10. Can we proceed to fet? Endometrium thickness 7. Can we proceed to transfer. Is lh value too high and if so, how the fertile window period is determined? Please advise.

Hi,
for frozen embryo transfer all these rests are not relevant. Any follicle is growing in either of your ovaries? Ultrasound findings will give better understanding. You need to wait for endometrial thickness to increase. If follicle is growing. We to first I induce ovulation and then plan for transfer.

I have got iui on 28th may, on susten 200 mg till date (13th june). Upt on 11th and 12th june is negative. Serum hcg on 12th june is negative as well. Today (on 13th june) I had slight bleeding pv with mild cramps. I'm still on susten. Is this implantation bleed or normal periods? Can I get periods on susten?

Dear lybrate-user,
if your upt and serum beta hcg are negative, it’s highly unlikely that you are pregnant. You may not be getting a proper period as your still on progesterone support. Please consult your doctor and find out if you can stop susten tablets. If your doctor is convinced that you can stop it, go ahead and discontinue it, after which you should get a proper period.

I am on letrozole 5 mg on day 2-7. On 13&14th day I found egg white discharge before that we met every alternate day. From 15th 16th day my mucus became dry. Do I ovulate early with letrozole and after my cervical mucus became dry we met after 4 days. Is there any chance we missed ovulation and my cervix is now dry and firm not like lips.in morning it is soft. How do I know if fertilization occurred.

Dear lybrate-user, when you take any medications for ovulation induction, it is better you do follicular monitoring by scans to check for follicle growth and ovulations. If you have regular cycles, you may ovulate around the 12-16th day, but when you take medications, we do not know how your body responds unless we monitor it. So next time you take such medications, please do a follicular monitoring, so you understand when the ovulation happens.

It looks like you are anaemic. And also you have to check with your vitamin and calcium, if the bones are weak then automatically the pain gets triggered more as there is less energy during any metabolic activity.
