1. Meditate and calm your mind

Ten minutes of meditation each day can help you get over anxiety. When your mind is at peace you think out pros and cons with enhanced insight. This composure reflects in each of your actions. Meditation demands your brain to be quiet when it is accustomed to work; you therefore have greater control over it.
     
2. Music can improve your brain abilities

Music is the best antidote for a sloppy brain. Music excites the neurons healing a bruised memory. It gifts you with clarity of thought. Apart from listening to music one must try to play a musical instrument. Teaching yourself things puts your mind through a strict regimen of constructive activities.
   
3. Take out time to learn a new language

We are paralyzed the minute our brain gives up. Due to several external and internal reasons each one of us is likely to suffer from cognitive disorders on being subjected to extreme pressure or shock. Trying to learn a new language motivates your brain cells to have a wider vocabulary which further restricts your chances of brain damage.

Ayurvedic remedies and ED
Ayurvedic medicine is a holistic, whole-body approach to health. It originated thousands of years ago in India. This practice promotes a combined use of herbal compounds, dietary guidelines, and specific exercises. It seeks to address the spiritual and social components of a person’s well-being in addition to their physical health.

Erectile dysfunction (ED) causes men to have difficulty maintaining an erection during sex. It’s a common problem, especially in men over the age of 40. Treating ED often involves addressing underlying psychological and physiological concerns that appear disconnected from sexual function. Research suggests that ayurvedic medicine approaches may aid the treatment of ED.

Indian ginseng-
Withania somnifera is an herb commonly used in ayurvedic medicine. It’s also called Indian ginseng and ashwagandha. It has been found to improve sperm count and fertility in men. Indian ginseng does this by regulating hormone levels and making your cells healthier.

The herb also is used to improve mental clarity and help reduce stress. Both factors can have an impact on ED symptoms.

You can purchase this herb from most drug stores and health food stores. It’s available as a powdered root extract and in capsule form. In order for it to be most effective, a high daily dosage (up to 6,000 milligrams per day) is recommended.

Asparagus racemosus-
Asparagus racemosus is a particular species of herb that grows in regions of India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. It’s known as shatavari, or “curer of one hundred diseases.” The Asparagus racemosus root is used in many preparations of ayurvedic vajikarana mixtures: It’s meant to improve sexual function and health.

Some studies have shown its effectiveness on the male reproductive system in its capability to improve circulation and calm nerves. Both of these benefits should aid men with ED. In the ayurvedic tradition, it’s also believed to be an aphrodisiac that promotes love and loyalty in those who use it.

Asparagus racemosus extract is available as a tincture and as a powder, but there has been little to no research on what the optimal daily dosage for a person would be.

Safed musli-
Safed musli, or Chlorophytum borivilianum, is also a vajikarana herb. It has shown an aphrodisiac effect in multiple lab studies, and some research suggests that it boosts sperm count. The recommended daily dose of safed musli is 2 grams per day. It can be purchased in capsule or pure powder form.

Cassia cinnamon-
Cinnamomum cassia is a type of cinnamon extracted from the bark of an evergreen tree that grows in regions of India. The extract of the Cinnamomum cassia twig is sometimes called cassia cinnamon or Chinese cinnamon. It has been demonstrated to improve sexual function.

Cassia cinnamon is different from the species of cinnamon most typically used to season sweet foods. This means ground cassia cinnamon powder isn’t as easy to find. Be careful to make sure you’re purchasing the correct kind of cinnamon.

It’s also important to note that not much is known about the maximum daily dosage of cassia cinnamon, or how much someone should take to see improvement of ED.

Yoga
To really embrace the ayurvedic method of treatment for any health condition, physical activity should be part of your treatment. The practice of yoga is being researched more and more for its health benefits. Yoga combines stretching, concentration, and meditation, improving circulation and reducing stress levels.

The stress-level benefit alone might be enough to improve symptoms of ED, but yoga has also been shown to promote healthy levels of testosterone. Provided you’re healthy enough to engage in light aerobic exercise, you can begin a yoga practice at any time by attending a class led by a yogi or even following an exercise DVD or app at home.

Man is different from the other species in that we are social beings. One of the main differentiators is our constant need to 'connect' with our fellow beings. Be it family or friends or society at large, we constantly need to be connected to our near and dear ones and want attention, affection, and assurance.

We need to respect this basic desire and appreciate that there is nothing wrong in feeling needed. Problems arise when this feeling to be needed gets excessive. There is a significant constant demand from the needy person, especially from those who are close to them.

Some cases where neediness is demonstrated are in new relationships. In the beginning, there is a great urge to please and therefore a greater focus on interacting with them. There is a fear of losing attention, there is insatiable excessive demand for attention - be it pleas, accusations, or demands - so as to not feel abandoned and deserted. Neediness is also quite evident in people with depression. Again, an attempt to not be abandoned by their near and dear ones.

By making a conscious effort, the neediness can be reduced, thereby making the relationships smoother and less painful to both the parties involved. As the saying goes - 'acknowledging the problem is half the problem solved'.

Needy people should realize or accept if told that there is an issue and make a conscious effort to work on reducing neediness.

1. Divert attention - As simple as it might sound, it is equally effective. Indulge in whatever interests you - exercise, meditation, dance, sing, etc. The idea is to divert attention so that the urge to feel needy and act on that instinct is reduced. This reduces the fear of being lonely and works magic. The busier you get, the less bored you are. As they say, be alone but not lonely.


2. Clarity in communication - One of the intricacies of neediness is making unclear demands. Sadly, quite often, the person does not know what he wants, and so are the demands or requests which are equally unclear. Once you are aware that your neediness is making you do this, make an effort to clearly communicate what you actually want. This reduces the stress on both the parties involved and leads to a happier engagement.

3. Clarity in relationships - Take a step back and see if your neediness is affecting any major relationships. If yes, revisit and clarify. Make an attempt and reestablish the relationships. If it is your truly near and dear ones, they will be very forthcoming and understanding.

4. Move on - In cases where your neediness has affected another person, be wise to accept their wishes and not be more 'needy' or clingy. This acceptance will make way for a lot of healthier relationships as you learn to deal with accepting your issues.

5. Socialize - Use your hobbies to make more friends and socialize more. Having more people to interact with reduces your need to be accepted by the same people. You have more people to rely on and might make more friends for keeps.

These are some simple ways to reduce neediness on others, but as mentioned, the first step is to accept and then work on ways to reduce it.

 Ayurveda is the ancient Indian medical science which treats an illness or a disease using natural ingredients. The body purification procedure is known as 'satkriyas' in yoga and as 'panchakarma' in ayurveda.
