It is good that you have quit smoking please maintain the no smoking status ,there are no benefits with smoking, if you experience pain get your self examined by a pulmonologist (chest Physician) or see a psychiatrist who will refer you to a pulmonologist if required.

You have to have burning desire to quit your smoking habit, chew anti nicotine chewing gum, quit one cig per week that means say your taking 15 cig per day take 15 upto next week, then on next week take daily 14, next week daily 13, this way you have to quit one cig per week.

Dear lybrate user. I can understand. The best method to clear the tar deposit is to quit smoking. Your body starts repairing process immediately after quitting. Within 6 months the repair process finishes. If you continue smoking, no medicine can clear the tar deposit. Take care.
