Hello madam. I am 21 years old. I tested with preganews and with the same sample of urine I tested with 2 kits, I got fainted double line in one and got light fainted double line in another. One the same day (on 16th april) I took mifepristone from the unwanted kit at 4: 30 pm and then on 18th april at morning 7: 30 am I took 4 tablets of misoprostol bucally. It started bleeding after 2 hours but very light. Then at 3: 15 pm on the same day (18th april), I again took 4 misoprostol tablets vaginally, and at 4: 15 pm I took 2 tablets of misoproprostol bucally. After some time I started bleeding. But it has been nearly 20 hours, I got wet with only one xl size pad. Please help me out doctor. I also got very tiny white grain like structures in my blood.

Hello, it would be best to get a repeat ultrasound pelvis done to check and rule out any retained products of conception.

Can mifepristone 200 mg + misoprostol 200 mcg be deducted in blood test or urine test? I have consumed these pills but due to heavy bleeding and weakness, my parents has taken me to the hospital. Will they come to know that I have consumed such pills? I haven't told them.

No it cannot be detected that you have taken these pills. But it is absolutely necessary to tell your treating doctor so that they can do what is best for you.

Health Query

I had mtp kit to terminate the pregnancy on 5 th april. My lmp is 27 feb. After taking kit there was very little amount of bleeding now what I should do. I am getting less quantity of clots and blood that is in a form of very small pieces and in black colour also. Should I take misoprostol 200 mcg again. Is it safe or not. please advice me very soon.

Hi advise you to get ultrasonography done if there is evidence of retained products of conception then go for dandc done . Not necessary that after using Mesoprost u get the result ok

Today evening, I had 200 mg mifepristone instead of a morning after pill by mistake. Now I want to take a morning after pill tomorrow morning or evening. Is it safe to do that? Would there be a problem?

I had unprotected sex and went to a chemist they gave me gynaecosid and misoprostol. How should I use it? Or is there any other medicine I can take for abortion?

Gynaecosid is not a contraceptive. It is used to treat estrogen deficiency and helps in regulating the menstrual cycle. It should not be used for abortion purposes. The use of this drug as a contraceptive is dangerous and may cause other complications.
Before using misoprostol, you must determine if you are pregnant.
Using without consulting a gynecologist may cause harm to you.

After drugs, for termination of pregnancy, it is sonography 15 days later which decides the success of treatment.

You have to take the medicine which your doctor has prescribed you before planning the next pregnancy. You have to complete the course of anti-viral medicine and and give a gap of three to six months before planning the next pregnancy so that the problem will not arise in next pregnancy.
