Is there a genetic factor to strokes? What medications are best for the treatment of asthma? What are their side effects?

Dr. Nagaraj Poojary 88% (239 ratings)

There is no such direct relation bet genetics and stroke but risk factors of stroke like blood pressure and diabetics is of genetic tendency. Familial asthma can be controlled with preventive measures like changing diet and medicine but total cure is difficult. Continuous intake of herbal medicines like swamala (dootapapeshvar, chawanaprasham is reducing the severity and frequency of attacks and also well respond to simple medicines of ayurveda or other medicnes during attack.

I am suffering from itching near genital part what the medication I should take in order to free from itching.

I am suffering from itching near genital part what the medication I should take in order to free from itching.
Thank you user for your query. You have genital itching which is quite common in summers as too much of sweat comes out from the body especially groin. All I would suggest is that start wearing cotton under garments and avoid synthetic clothes. Any cloth which are not cotton based should be avoided as it won't allow air to pass inside. You can start using any ointment having anti fungal, anti bacterial, and steroid. Before using wash the area with normal soap and then pat it dry. Once it's dried up apply the ointment and massage it till it gets disappeared. You can use twice daily. God bless.

Wash the skin two to three times a day. Keep the skin dry. Avoid excess groin skin irritation by wearing 100% cotton underwear. Avoid fabric softeners, bleaches, or harsh laundry detergents. Wash your workout clothes, underwear, socks, and towels after each use. Keep your groin, inner thighs, and buttocks clean and dry, especially after you exercise and shower. After showering or bathing, dry the irritated groin area by gently patting it with a towel. Be sure to dry your skin thoroughly. Mix two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in two cups of warm water. Wash the infected area with this solution and allow it to dry on its own. Another option is to apply a mixture of equal parts of white vinegar and coconut oil on the affected skin. Like hydrogen peroxide, rubbing alcohol can help kill off the fungus that's on the surface level of the skin. You can apply it directly to the affected area Listerine: It has antiseptic, antifungal and antibacterial properties, which help treat itch.
