You can, but meal replacement is not sustainable, as you cannot do it forever. Also you may feel more hungry in the next meal and may end-up eating more Calories. Better take low carb natural meal like steamed veggies and soup.

Hi, meal replacers will help only till you use them. Long term usage may lead to deficiencies in the body. Here are a few tips that will help you:-
exercise 40-45 minutes 4-5 times a week.
Eat small frequent meals every 2 -3 hours
have whole grain cereals like millets and pulses
eat protein rich diet egg whites, sprouts (especially post workout, it will help in building muscle) and improve metabolism.

Hi lybrate-userbefore starting with any supplement shakes, you can start with dietary smoothies naturally. I won't suggest you go for meal replacement, yes side effects are there and major ones.
Meal replacement are for the ones who are not capable of managing diet. Overweight can be gone with proper diet & exercise under supervision. Take Homeopathic medicine (as a starter)
1) Tab Calcarea Fluor 6x: 2tabs twice daily 30 mins before meals

After cholecystectomy you can not eat too much food at a one time.
Due to overeating the severe pain may came but I can't say that it's a only after cholecystectomy 's pain.
Need to go with a doctor for severe pain.
