Hello! I would suggest that in addition to medication you can try engaging in hobbies, relaxation skills and lifestyle changes to enhance your mood. Psychotherapy might be helpful as well without the side-effects and worry of medication dosages.

The symptoms you're experiencing could be related to various factors, including your depression, the medication you're taking, alcohol consumption, or other underlying health issues. Abruptly quitting alcohol after regular use can sometimes lead to withdrawal symptoms, which may include nausea, dizziness, headache, and mood changes. From the information you've provided, it seems you have a history of fatty liver and lipid (cholesterol) issues. It's positive to hear that you've made lifestyle changes such as abstaining from alcohol, cigarettes, and tobacco use, as well as incorporating exercise and a healthy diet into your routine.
It's important to manage your cholesterol levels to reduce the risk of heart issues. Statins are commonly prescribed to lower cholesterol levels, and it seems you've been taking them in differ...more

Hi, I can understand your concern for your brother. He must be going through the break up depression. De does need to be handled by professional psychologist and if needed for medical treatment. Many times counseling itself helps though it takes a little long. Family support is the most important key factor.

It is not be taken over the counter on your own, in fact ideally after consulting a psychiatrist and getting your depression and mse done. Sertraline is a very good antidepressant but can cause certain unpleasant side effects too. So consult a psychiatrist and then get treated. Good luck.

I am 43 years old woman. I had depression problem 4-5 years back due to sudden death of family member. I used to feel extremely uneasy and shivering in my hands and feet. I consulted a doctor who prescribed me dothip 25 and zapiz-0.25.i gradually decreased the amount of medicine and soon I felt normal .i used to feel uneasy only after hearing some bad news. But 2 months back, I suffered from viral fever and cough which continued for about 15-20 days followed by an accident of me and my daughter. Fortunately we both were fine but the feeling of uneasiness and stress returned. I feel uneasy in the morning and feel very weak. I consulted my doctor and he told me to take zapiz 0.25 in the morning and zapiz 0.25 and dothip-25 in the night. I want to know how long will I have to continue this medicine and is it safe to take these pills .please suggest some ways to cure this.

Hi lybrate-user.
I'm sorry for your loss. Sounds like the stress and uneasiness is taking a physical toll on you as well. Chronic stress can lead to fatigue and weakness. You can explore how you've been thinking lately and how the accident has impacted your thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Engaging in relaxation techniques such as yoga, breathing and meditation or simply investing some time in w...more
