Hi I am 25 years old 2 years ago I had dry cough (3-4 weeks )and fever and a small swollen lymph nodes in my left side of neck and pain in my testicular left side .after I did check hiv antibiotics 4 times one after 14 days and second after 3 months and third after 6 month and last was 1.2 years all test was negative because.(i did sex with my gf she has some problems like irregular menstruated and cyst in ovary) so I check this time. And now swollen lymph node still in this position and pain sometimes. There is same problem of my gf and I have pain my left testicular and a black spot on my penis. So how to solve this problem and what should I do next?

My mom right now 60 years old has been taking beta blocker, calcium blocker, ecosprin 75 (aspirin) for mild mitral n aortic regurgitation since 4 years. 2 years back she had amputated her right leg due to rta. Since then she has been taking mirnite 35 and zolcam .what the real issue I want to consult is since some months ago when covid first started my mom has been having pitting edema on her left foot like consecutive days and the opd or any hospitals are not welcoming any case issue because of cavity right now. Is the cause of edema anything to worry about?

Many conditions can cause pedal edema like cardiac problems, renal problems as well as liver problems. Even hypothyroidism and venous problems in the leg can cause it. You have to get a renal function test, liver function test, 2d echo, tft to know the exact cause.

Hi Lybrate user. If distension of abdomen is significant and requires immediate decrease in distension then you should go for therapeutic usg guided abdominal paracentesis with albumin infusion. Thank you.

Hi, don't know if this is the right place to look for help, but I am out of options, basically I have struggled with my stomach and intestines since october 2018, at first it was just a mild fever, burning in stomach, and a few bad bowel habits, but then my bowels became much worse over time, had bouts of diarrhea, constant abdominal tenderness and cramps, and obviously gas, I did all kinds if tests, blood, colonoscopy, endoscopy, ct scan of both abdomen and chest, mri enterography, and nothing showed apart from enlarged lymph nodes, so I went to a hematologist she said that does are reactive and non specific small nodes, and 2 weeks ago I went to a doctor who specialises in infections she ordered a feces test on gut bacteria and came back this e.coli h7 dna, she said that this type of bacteria can cause all these symptoms and lymph nodes but you don't treat it, usually it goes away on it's own, asked what to do next, she said this is probably the thing that causes everything, and just try diets and probiotics for the next 2 months, but it's been 1 year and 6 months, is it possible for bacteria to sit inside me for that long, and cause all these symptoms for so long and won't go away? I just highly doubt it.

I had tuberculosis last year on lymph node below the jaw. The node did not reduced to normal size after the treatment. Now last week I got cold. I had medicines like enzoflam, pantocid it, cetirizine and ceftum. The size of lymph node got lessen with these a bit. Then after the medications are over the node is more swollen then before. I am scared. Please help me with this.
