Dear sir, early diseases of lung can be operated and removed, but advanced diseases need chemotherapy radiation therapy. If pain is because of bone involvement then palliative radiation therapy may be offered. Patient needs adequate amount of pain killers to overcome pain and a good supportive care.

It's difficult to calculate the probability, there are some risk calculators available but it's actually difficult to exactly predict as there may be other confounding factors like pollution,environmental factors, occupational hazards, genetic factors. Smoking is not only related to lung cancer but it may lead to head and neck cancer, gastrointestinal, bladder etc.

1. Take bland diet, avoid spicy, oily, fried and junk food2 eat and drink slowly. 3. Avoid fatty food, carbonated drink like soda/ soft drink/beer, chewing gum, sucking hard candy etc,

Use aloe Vera juice - in empty stomach in the morning.
This is very effective
exercises, breathing exercises are very useful too.
There are specific medicines available in Ayurveda to purify the lungs. Consult if you need more info regarding that.
