You can keep it under control without progressing to next stage of going to chronic stage of degeneration, start with regular muscles strengthening exercises and avoiding wrong postures and lifting heavy weights will help.

It might be due to gastric trouble. Kindly do breathing exercises which might help you to get reduced with pain in the back and right shoulder. Kindly consult gastroenterologist.
