Though lipomas are not dangerous, many people opt to have the growths removed for cosmetic reasons. Surgical excision is the only cure for lipomas, and the tumors will not go away without treatment. For more information about lipoma removal, speak with a healthcare provider.

Lipoma is a slow growing fatty tumor non cancerous in nature occours between the skin and the underlying muscle layer. Homoeopathy treatment reduces the size of d lipoma to residuals. Classical homoeopathy treatment can abort this tendency by improving the immune system.

Lipomas generally do not cause any problems except cosmetic. No medicine is effective in removing or reducing the lipomas. The only treatment is surgical removal.

Dear lybrate-user,
Lipoma is a benign slow growing lump of fat placed beneath skin and muscle layer. Since you have mentioned that you had 20 lipomas cause could be genetic. Diet has no role whatsoever.
Treatment generally isn't necessary, but if the lipoma is bothersome, painful or growing, surgical removal may be required.
