A lipoma is a harmless deposit of fat under the skin that’s typically found on the neck, back, or shoulders. Usually lipoma don't require treatment.
Doctor might remove the lipoma if it is painful, gets infected, or bothers you.
Get your self clinically checked first.

A lipoma is a growth of fat cells in a thin, fibrous capsule usually found just below the skin. Lipoma is the most common noncancerous soft tissue growth. Lipoma usually is not treated, because most of them don't hurt or cause problems. USG of lipoma is sometimes helpful to manage. Surgery is required if it is painful, gets infected, or bothers you. If it really bothers you can consult to a general surgeon. I think you cosmetic concern is more in your case.
