Asked for female, 41 years old from Ludhiana

I am 39 years old with 2 kids (c-section). I am suffering from heavy bleeding since many years which affected my quality of life. Lately I was diagnosed with adenomyosis. I have already taken tablets (hormonal medicines) they reduced my bleeding but when I stop them after 3 months course the same problem arises. Doctor advised mirena iud. But after searching so many side effects of it I am worried. What should be done?

there are two options for adenomyosis treatment ,if family complete you can go for hysterectomy.if you want to conserve your uterus then go for mirena insertion.
for initial 2-3 months afyer mirena insertion you may have intermenstrual spotting and cramps .but after that periods will get regularized and BLEEDING will reduce significantly

44 yrs. Diagnosed with adenomyosis. History of arterial clot in right hand. Put on ponstan. For one day this month I had pink discharge and then on second day it was red blood on toilet paper for half an hour and then it stopped. Would this be a period. Lmp august 28. Stomach feels hard and having pain in stomach, on and offf dizziness. Underneath neck feels stiff. Is adenomyosis progressing?

Adenomyosis is a condition, which is not effectively treated by drugs.(including hormones) at the age of 44 if you have inter menstrual spotting or bleeding, better to get a d&c done by a gynecologist and wait for hpr. The treatment is to be scheduled only after precuring the report.

I am suffering from adenomyosis as I have very heavy bleeding for 2 days plus after periods I also suffer a lot with thigh pain and sometimes frequent urination which has affected my quality of life. Doctor has advised for mirena iud insertion. But there are a lot of horror stories about mirena and its side effects. please suggest is it a wise decision.

Diagnosed with adenomyosis. 44 years. Taking ponstan forte but still having abdominal cramps and pelvic pressure. Lmp aug 28. Is adenomyosis getting worse? Since two months taking ponstan does’t seem to help. Irregular periods.

treatment for adenomyosis is either hysterectomy or cyclical progesterone therapy or mirena insertion ( type of iud releasing levonorgestrel).
as you're 44 yrs ,if pain is severe you can go for hysterectomy.Or you can take progesterone tablets cyclicaly ,it will relief you of pain .

I tested urine hpt with prega news 4 times, all were negative. At 24 weeks after sex, the last test came negative. My period is irregular due to pcod. Is there any chance for me to be pregnant? Any chance for cryptic pregnancy that i'm not aware of? I'm worried.

False negatives are more common than false positive for urine test for pregnancy. Get blood tested for beta hcg and ultrasound.

Hi doctor I had mild cramp pain right from last one week, and my periods was occurring 5 days before date of every month after second delivery and my normal bleeding was before 2 or 3 days but now 5 days so I visited gynecologist she told me to take urine test it was normal and hemoglobin normal, and for my satisfaction I took abdomen pelvis scan it is showing mild hepatomegaly with grade 1 fatty infiltration and mildly bulky uterus I have two kids age 33, can anyone suggest is anything issue or it's normal which can be treated please.

Gynaecologist suggest krimson35 for regularize periods and skin problems. While taking krimson 35 I don't have acne problem and unwanted hair my periods are regular. Now a days I stop taking krimson35 my acne come back and unwanted facial hair grow face become more oily and I have dandruff also. So please tell me doctor. What I have to do now my periods are regular but skin problems are there. So kindly tell me how to control oily skin and acne and dandruff problems. Can I continue krimson 35 or take another tablets?

You have irregular periods, acne and hirsutism because of hyperandrogenism initiated by pcocd. You will have to use krimson35 for anther priod of 6 months.

Age 27, weight 82 kg, unmarried.my question is that do chronic bacterial prostatitis cause too much weakness in body like hip pain, femur pain, hip joint pain, feet pain and hands ,shoulder ,rib cage, chest pain, burning sensation and joint pain and also chills. I asked this because I am diagnose with it and having too much weakness, bleeding in semen, my psa was 2.06 ng/ml on 14 aug 2020. On 26 aug I had my trus prostate showing "prostate volume 14. 8 cc. The prostate is normal in size, shape and shows ill defined parenchymal areas if increased echogenicity mainly limited to the anterior stromal zone and transitional zone of the prostate. The echogenic areas are seen extending and surrounding the opening of ejaculatory ducts on both side and there is preserved zonal differentiation noted in both lobes elsewhere" possibility of chronic prostatitis needs to be ruled out. Within 2 months now my whole body is paining even I am. Taking antibiotics oflox 400 mg since 11 days ,my problem is increasing. Though I know prostate cancer is very rare at this age. Do I have chances of it. I do not have any family history. Please help me, I am tired of running to diff urologist in this corona time and they are paying attention to. My severe issues?
