Human rabies immune globulin is administered only once at the begening of anti rabies prophylaxis. To previously unvaccinated persons.
This will provide immediate antibodies until the body can respond to the vaccine by active producing antibodies of its own.
If the rabies vaccine is given immediately and appropriately to someone who was bitten by a rabid animal. It is 100 % eefective.

I presume you have taken 5 dose course sometimes before 2 nd june. Then 2 booster doses. Subsequently one dose on 8 th june. In this case you have one year period of protection from 3rd june onwards. Only you need to consult an expert or surgeon if it was rabies animal, with deep lacerated wound nearer head. Otherwise you could have ignored it and avoided booster second time within 5 days again.

I presume you have taken 5 doses of vaccine. Followed by 2 booster doses. This will give immunity for one year. However alcohol is known to reduce natural immunity of body. 5 +2 post exposure doses is ok.

For rabies, the vaccination protocol typically involves multiple doses given over a specific time period. It is important to complete the recommended vaccination schedule for adequate protection against rabie...more
