Lazy Eye Questions

Patch therapy needs to be planned and Take tablet folvite 5mg once a day and tablet vitaminD (60000iu) once a week lifelong

Close the normal eye with a bandage and use the lazy eye for many hours as per your comfort level and do it daily for a month and than we will review

LASIK is not going to cure lazy eye and as of now plan for eye exercise and than we can plan treatment

Find the cause whether it is due to night time awakening or some cosmetic you are applying under eyes or it is just effect of light (Tyndall  effect) or it is hereditary. Take plenty of fluids, sleep at night at right time. Apply cetaphil moisturing cream around eyes in day time & Fixderma under eye cream at night on dark circles for 3 months. 20 % to 80% improvement depending on the cause. If there is no improvement ,consult dermatologist with MD or DNB Dermatogy qualification.

It may be normal.But if you want you can check with an eye doctor (as a routine checkup). You can regulate your sleep and overall energy level by starting to exercise everyday. You can also learn Yoga ( including pranayam and meditation ) as it will rejuvenate the whole body and mind.

Inncase of cylinderical power in both eyes. I would recommend constant use of glasses
There is no diet or Medicine to cure this
If vision in both eyes is equal then there is nothing required except for Glasses
If vision is dissimilar in both eyes then she would require patching therapy along with Glasses.

No sir it cannot be cured at your age by vision therapy, it can be cured by age 8 by vision therapy.

It usually remains about the same...

Their will be no visual improvement in lazy eye.

The squinting may however be operated to straighten the deviation to cosmetically acceptable level. However, in some cases, a deviation may reappear at some point of time in future...which direction n amount and when it will happen can't be predicated.
