Aldactone should be started only after dermatolgical consultation in person (bcos this drug has various side effects and contraindications. But yes it is one of the drug for hirsutism and 6 months to 1 year of therapy is required. Laser epilation therapy is better than oral medication for hirsutism but combination therapy is also used.
