Laser hair removal is a permanent treatment for unwanted hair all over the body. Laser treatment is controversial for nasal hair because it could hurt the mucous membranes inside the nasal cavity. Laser treatment for nose hair likely targets only the most visible hair right around the inside edge of the nostril.

Laser hair removal may make acne worse initially especially if hairs in the treated area are thick and coarse. After 2-3 sessions hair will become lighter, finer and will grow at a much slower rate. This will allow the skin the time it needs to heal and reduce the likelihood of further breakouts. If proper after-care procedures are followed these effects can definitely be kept to a minimum.
