Hello lybrate-user, I am sorry to say my my professional experience is that laser or infrared or doppler can't cure fissure properly. These procedures only numb the nerves which supplied to anal area for a short time it may be cure your disease for 1 year too but recurs 100%.

The latest management for Piles is stapled Haemorrdectomy (MIPH). It's a minimally invasive procedure. So no cutting of piles mass is needed. MIPH is associated with less pain, faster recovery better patient acceptability. There is another minimally invasive procedure known as Doppler Hemorrhidal artery ligation but it is not available everywhere. MIPH can be done as a daycare procedure. Laser Piles management is not widely accepted as its associated with anal canal stricter.

Laser is a very good treatment for a short time it may relief you 6 months or may be 8 months. It won't cure your disease completely because even after laser the fissure is in its healed fissure stage it won't cured. Laser numbs the nerves which supplies near the fissure.
