At 28 years hysterectomy is not the option. If you r suffering from fibroids then fibroids can be removed. If you have excessive bleeding during menses and completed family, then endometrial ablation is one therapy in which inner lining of the uterus is removed.

You don't have to get hysterectomy done that is not required you can go in for sterilisation operation which is much simpler one and is done everywhere.

You can very well opt for copper -t application as an IUCD and can prevent pregnancy for as long as 10 years.
