It is. Gall stones if not removed would irritate the gall bladder wall causing it continuous trauma and ulcerations leading to cancers in future. It is advisable to remove it if the stones are big enough and patient is symptomatic.

The safest and way that should be used to remove gall stones is removing it naturally, not ju...more

There is no way to expel gall bladder stones (unlike the case of kidney stones). So gall stones if they r not creating a problem, let them be there. But do follow annual checkups. But if they are causing the problem, it's better to remove them.

Being a homoeopath obviously I will suggest homoeopathic treatment...
Know Why??
It is safe and no side effects
It gives permanent relief
No need to remove gallbladder and no need for an operation
and comparatively very cost effective...
The only requirement is detailed case study for which you will need a consultation...
You may consult any homoeopath of your choice who is thorough..

Hello dear lybrate-user, hi
Warm welcome to Lybrate.com
I have evaluated your query for your wife thoroughly.* The only treatment is gall bladder removal surgery, it is not possible to remove only stones as kidney.
Hope this clears your query. Wishing her fine recovery. Welcome for any further assistance. Regards take care.

Go on a less fat diet especially if you are having post operative diarrhea. This can be done by restricting oils, butter, cheese, ghee, etc. Buffalo milk should be substituted by skimmed cow milk which contains lesser fat. Avoid spicy food. Go on frequent small feeds rather than single large meal. Have more of fruits and carbohydrates like rice, wheat in moderate quantities.

You can drink hot water and also general lukewarm water to flush out the stone. Apart from that you can take good fibre foods which will definitely help you to get removed from the current symptoms.

Hello a bit of malabsorbtion after gall bladder removal is normal for few months. It's still two days take bland diet. Avoid fatty n spicy foods for few weeks. After that you can take all that others can take. Just avoid excess oils and fats. Plus some enzyme like digestomin can be taken to aid digestion but not necessary. In a few months your body will adapt to be without gallbladder. Regards.
