Dear Lybrate user
we would recommend you discuss the same with the psychiatrist. Psychiatrists can help in identifying whether to increase the dose or decrease it. Along with it, you have to make some lifestyle changes as well like adopting a physical exercise routine - gyming, yoga, cycling, etc. Consult a dietician for a healthy diet routine like avoiding too much sugar and carbs. Additionally to all these, you may try analyzing how this condition is affecting your life - relationship, wor...more

Dear lybrate-user,
you psychiatrist knows your diagnosis and treatment algorithms. Sizodon or quetiapine is given to augment fluoxetine and atomoxetine - not just for insomnia. They are given at low dose also. Still you need to make lifestyle changes to control your weight, sugar levels and other medical illnesses. (i don't know your age - but I know your weight as 104 kg). Don't worry about withdrawals now - it is a long way.

If the speech is different from others, then may be there is an additional problem other than adhd. It will require speech therapy if it is causing worry. Answering only his family members and no one else is also not explained by the diagnosis of adhd, so you will need to visit a paediatric neurologist to see what is causing that. Not paying attention and not being able to concentrate on his work are symptoms of his condition of adhd. They will be part of his behaviour always. The therapist may ...more

Do it slowly.
Better to consult a psychiatrist in-person, near your place of living.
One suggested way:
break lonazep md (0.25) into 4 (almost) equal pieces (i know it is a very small tablet and pill breaker, easily available online for 30 to 60 rs can help). Take 3 parts (pieces) daily for 7 to 10 days, then take 2 parts daily for next 7 to 10 days, then take one part daily for next 7 to 10 days & then stop taking.
In case you have moderate to severe recurrence of your anxiety, ...more

Child younger than 6 years old, before trying any medication behavior therapy should be applied. Recommend that adhd be treated with behavior therapy first, before trying medication. Behavior therapy is the recommended treatment for adhd in children under 6 years of age.

Ssris are the best available drug and you can start low dose of ssri and gradually titrate to reduce dose dependent side effects. Sexual side effects are not so common as you think. It occurs in 1-2 patients out of 10. So, there is a bright chance you might not have major side effects. You got to take this small risk considering risk and benifit ratio. You will need a preliminary evaluation before starting medications. So, you can consult me online or any other good psychiatrist nearby before st...more

Backache has nothing to do with medications. At this age most common cause is inappropriate posture while sitting, sitting for long hours in front of computer or with a mobile in hand in inappropriate posture. Self evaluate for these causes and rectify the posture in which you sit throughout the day. Do some stretching exercises for back as your problem could be because of lack of strength in bower back muscles as well. Preferably do dhanurasana ,ardha chakrasana if you know yoga so that your lo...more
