Hi doctor, I am a mom of four month baby, earlier my milk supply was quiet okay but now suddenly it has been decreased though my baby has put to the breast frequently there is less milk production as my baby cry even after breast feeding and she is not preferring formula milk right now. Milk is not forming in me quickly. I am drinking 3 litres of water everyday but my diet is not too good so. Please advise how can I increase my milk supply. Please recommend me any medication if needed to increase my breast milk and also if there is protein deficiency in me please advise medicine for that too. Thank you doctors in advance.

Well first of all you need to suck it repeatedly by your baby that can be helpful, take fenugreek daily, take more protein, also you need proper homeopathic treatment which can be helpful.

Yes it is safe. If you take misoprostol, amounts secreted in the breast milk are very small and will not harm the baby.

8 weeks postpartum, I was given lactare tablet and lactonic granules since baby was born at 35 weeks, i'm continuing it till today and if I stop it I find my breast milk supply is low I know breast milk flow depends purely on demand, I wants to know how long can I continue both is it safe?

It should be safe because the ingredients are all plant based. Hope you are also following proper diet and supplements. Continue for another couple of months and see if the lactation is established by then.

When I given to birth to my baby boy I was getting milk in drops and we started to give formula milk and when I start to pump my breast when my boy was 2 months I was getting thick colostrum now he is 3 month can I start to pump once again to get some milk in my breast and by feeding formula milk babies can't sleep their own.
