For increasing the amount of breast milk, you can start shatawari powder 2 teaspoons full in 1 glass of milk daily for 2-3 months. Avoid using demelan cream, as you are breast feeding.

Don't use a cream which the baby can ingest. Pigmentation is a pregnancy change, which no cream can take away.

Hi,
Make the child sleep with some other member of the family or apply nrrm oil to the nipple area so that the bitterness makes him feel bad and stop feeding on your milk

Hi my baby is 25days old. He s exclusively breastfeeding. I took 2 lactare tablets thrice daily (2-2-2) since second day of my delivery as suggested by my pediatrician as baby had dehydration on the second day due to lack of sufficient milk. After taking lactare and continuous feeding of baby my supply increases and I am exclusively breastfeeding him. And lactare tablet was stopped before I got discharged on 5the day as I got enough supply. Though my baby pee count is nearly 10 and poop count is 3 or 4 times a day, I started taking lactare capsules the same dosage since 10 days before because I had loose breast sometimes and baby feeds for more tym. I felt taking the capsules baby is taking less tym for feeding and my breast seems little heavier and full before feeding but not engorged and all seems okay. So taking the lactare capsules gives me more confidence about my supply. So is it okay to take the lactare capsules daily 2 capsules 3 times a day (2-2-2? Is it over dosage? Does it have any side effects taking 6 capsules a day,

Hi lybrate-user you can continue taking letter as long as you are ok with the milk supply is concern. It is right dosage and I don't think so you need to worry about the side effect because it is just a natural ingredient which is in there so you can increase the content of your milk supply by increasing garlic and more of dry fish in your diet if your non-vegetarian apart from that you can try eating a lot of protein rich food and also milk. As long as you don't have breast engorgement you can ...more
