Your expected date of delivery is 11th Oct. Wait till then. You may or may not get pain. If you get labour pains, it will start from the back and start radiating towards abdomen. The pain intensity will gradually increase and the pain will also last longer. It will start coming at regular intervals. You may also have leaking per vagina. In the both the case, you have to report to the hospital immediately.

You do get cramps sometimes in later months of pregnancy and whether it turns to labour can be only assessed either by the medical attendant who examined it or by the patient herself if discharge and cramps continue then it may proceed to labour.

I advise you to keep an account of your baby's movements and contact your obstetrician immediately. Sometimes the labour pains are not natural and have to be induced.

Hello, during start of labour pain starts from lower back and comes towards lower abdomen and the lower abdomen shall become tight. Initially this pain shall come in a period of say 15 min and then slowly the frequency shall increase and the duration of pain shall also increase from few seconds to 25-30 seconds. Also occur would be cervical dilatation which can be assessed by your obstetrician during labour. You should report to your doctor when the pain starts. Regards.
