Laser treatment in physiotherapy works for deep seated pain, but if there is extreme degeneration of the cartilage and bones, knee replacement is inevitable as it is a non reversible condition.

its compulsory for each patient who undergoes knee replacement surgery to take physiotherapy or physical excercise treatment for 2 months to avoid any muscle or knee problems.
if your mother takes physiotherapy treatment she can be fine and pain reduces.
