I had a recent complete eye check up at a renowned hospital. All the parameters including retina where absolutely normal. There was only a small change in my eye numbers prescription. The number had in fact reduced by 0.5. On checking my eye pressure the doctor told me that the pressure was slightly high and gave me some eye drops for dryness. However, while doing the eye pressure check up, the bright round circle image which I was supposed to see in the machine has formed an after image in my right eye even when I keep my eyes closed. This image also forms when I slightly close my right eye. However when I completely open my eyes the image subsides. I can see the image whenever I blink my eyes. The concerned doctor who had done this test in the hospital said that this nothing to worry about and shall go. However, it is now more than two months since I had got my eyes checked the image is still forming whenever I close my right eye. Please advice.

Hello lybrate-user. You are taking medicines for diabetes. Diabetes may at times cause visual symptoms in variable manner. In case your complains are persistent, it would be a good idea to get your retina evaluated again. This would help in solving your eye complains. At times, even raised eye pressure could lead to symptoms of haloes around the eyes. Let me know if you require further assistance. Regards.

Cystone tablet will have no effect on kidney stones, kindly consult a qualified urologist who will conduct some basic imaging and laboratory tests and will treat you accordingly, secondly you need a metabolic workup to find out the reason why you are developing recurrent urinary stones.

Imaging tests. A health care professional may use imaging tests, such as a computed tomography (ct) scan, magnetic resonance imaging (mri), or ultrasound, to help diagnose a kidney infection. A technician performs these tests in an outpatient center or a hospital.

If the cyst is causing pressure or other symptoms you have to do surgery . If your simple kidney cyst causes no signs or symptoms and doesn't interfere with your kidney function, you may not need treatment. Instead, your doctor may recommend that you have an imaging test, such as ultrasound, periodically to see whether your kidney cyst has enlarged. If your kidney cyst changes and causes signs and symptoms, you may choose to have treatment at that time. Sometimes a simple kidney cyst goes away ...more

When indicators suggest a kidney cleanse is in order, the most important thing to do is to drink adequate amounts of water (8 cups or 2 L of filtered or healthy spring water daily) to flush out unwanted waste and improve circulation to the organ.
Follow a low-protein diet as much as possible, especially avoiding animal protein of any kind, including milk, dairy products, eggs, poultry, fish, and seafood, as these foods are high in phosphorus and encourage calcium deposition. Also avoid rhuba...more

Hi, the best treatment for a 22 mm stone is complete removal through a keyhole. This surgery is called mini- pcnl (percutaneous nephrolithotomy). Laparoscopy is not preferred for kidney stones, except in rare situations. Currently ct urography is the preferred imaging test before stone removal. Ivp is an older and limited imaging option. It is to be done only in places where ct is not available.
