Hi Lybrate-user, The problem what I can feel is with your third molar (wisdom tooth) seems to be impacted and carious due to which infection is there due to which your mouth opening is reduced as tetanus symptoms usually emerge 7 to 10 days after initial infection.

I am considering you don't have gutkha chewing/ pan masala chewing habit. At you age of 21, an erupting third molar (wisdom tooth) creates such problems. Use warm saline rinse to gorgle 3-4 times a day, take otc pain killers and see if problem dimish in few days. If not, please visit a nearby dentist to visualise the cause (clinical, x-rays etc).

Consult and take proper check up by a dentist first and then ent specialist as without that not possible to diagnose.
Then you can consult me at Lybrate for homoeopathic treatment.
