My husband is 36 years old. Pandemic affected our lives and we were emotionally and financially down. My husband used to take a lot of stress as he had to wrap his business. Things, however, are better now but due to all the instabilities in the past few months, he has developed insomnia. Doctor please help me in knowing is insomnia a serious problem?

My father is 82 years old and has been suffering from senile dementia and insomnia. Currently he is taking the medicine clonazepam 0.5 mg + escitalopram 10 mg for insomnia. Last one month his serum sodium level fell below 125 meq/l. To control hyponatremia, doctor prescribed him to take tolvaptan 15 mg with 05 g salt capsule daily with a water restriction of max 1200 ml per day. After (tolvaptan + extra salt + water restriction) for last 20 days, his serum sodium level is now 136 meq/l which is still below the normal ref value 138 - 148. Should we continue tolvaptan 15 mg + 5 g salt cap + water restriction for more 20 days or increase the dose of tolvaptan to 30 mg? Please advice.

I have my exams on 29th november (cat), yesterday I could not fall asleep whole night, is it due to taking zolpidem for 10-15 days, as I had not taken it yesterday. If I don't take it for next two -three days, will it be problematic?
I'm using zolfresh 10 mg, for sleeping. I'm getting sleep only 4 hours. Please give advice to improve my sleep.
Can I take ativan or zolpidem once in a week or two week for sleep, will it make be habitual to it and addicted?
Before using any medications please consult a doctor.
Both of the mentioned drugs might get habituated.
And please note that these drugs just increase your sleep but they doesn't relax your brain
(which is the main reason to sleep)
if you have prescription, use these drugs according to the prescription and do not increase or decrease the dose without consulting the doctor.
