Asked for Female, 29 years old from Delhi

Hi doctor! I had my iui on 10th and 11th of may and I have started taking duphaston twice a day till 30 th may as suggested by my doctor. My last period date was 28th april, today 26th may I had brown discharge. Is there any issue or this is implantation bleeding. I will take test on 30th may as told by doc. Thanks.

Hello, Its difficult to say if its an implantation bleed or a withdrawal due to progesterone pill mistimed. If pregnancy test is positive only then retrospectively. It can be labelled as an implantation bleed.

For IUI man has to give his semen and woman either with or without drugs has to meet Gynecologist as advised by Gynecologist

No problem as travelling does not change anything. Whatever happens dont relate to travelling. As such 1 IUI has success rate of about 9 % only repeated for consecutively for 3 to 6 months take it to 30 %

Can iui be done at home by collecting semen in a flask and inserting it with a syringe without needle. Also can semen be collected at home for iui treatment at hospital.

Hello,
The answer is no as it is a preached sample for IUI and not just direct ejaculate . Also the sample should reach the lab within 30 min even if taken at home.

the success rate of IUI is 20 percent. trying naturally is still less. Since how long you have been planning for pregnancy. whether tubal testing has been done.

I am ttc from past 7 years I have done with my first iui what about the success rate? I'm prescribed with medicines like susten 200 tablet, estrabet 2 mg and duphaston 10 mg after my iui. Are those helpful. My Dr. told me to come after a week for scan. Can I get result of iui on that day.

Thanks for enquiry. From the day of iui 14th day please to check serum bhcg which is blood test. Helps to figure out whether pregnancy is there or not. Success rate 18-22 percent.
