Hello Everyone, I am Dr. Pooja Choudhary, Obstetrics & Gynaecology.

Today I will speak about infertility in women. Infertility refers to unable to conceive even after 1 year of regular unprotected intercourse. Hum test husband se shuru karte hain. Husband semen analysis karate hain. Uske normal hone ke baad hum wife ka investigation karte hain. Agar koi bhi problem cervical, uterus or tubes or ovaries me problem hone pr infertility ho sakti hai. Infertility ke causes mein ovulatory disorder ek major cause hai. Ye 30% cases me dekha jaata hai.

PCOS aaj ki date me bhut common hai. Kayi baar egg banta hai but follicle se release nhi ho pata hai. Kayi bar agar koi woman athelete hai ya sports me active hain ya fir body weight kam hai or extensive exercise karte hain to us case me bhi hormones secret nahi ho pate hain. Smoking bhi ovulation ko hamper karta hai. Kuch cases me dekha jata hai ki egg ban raha hai but tube pick nahi kar pa rahi hai. Is case me hum tubal factor krte hain identify kr ke. Uterine cause me agar lining me problem hai to sperm connect nhi kr pata hai.

Cervical canal agar bhut jyada stenosed hai or koi polyp hai cervical me to infertility ka problem hota hai quki sperm enter nahi kar paata hai. Ye sare problem treatable hain.
