eat a lot of nut, dry fruits, fruits and vegetables. Consume 3-4 servings of dairy like milk, yogurt pander. Get healthy grains like brown rice, whole wheat, seeds and oats. Drink slot of water. Get enough sleep. Do pranayam and meditation daily for 15 minutes

safe period is calculated on the basis of cycle duration. Day 1 is first day of the period start.
If monthly cycle is regular each month and of 28 days, then day 9 to 18 is unsafe for sex. Other days are usually safe for sex. For extra protection leave 2 more days both side so day 7-20 is unsafe.
On the basis of cycle days there are variation of some days.
