Hi doctor .i am currently in ivf treatment. 2 months back I am done with egg pickup. Last month my doctor cancel embryo transfer due to high progesterone this month again my doctor cancel embryo transfer due to high estrogen she suggested femilon tablet. Is this tablet reduces estrogen in the body? Why should I have to take that medicine.

Hi lybrate-user. Your doctor must have seen your lining not receptive for embryo to implant on your ultrasounds. Thats why she must have cancelled it. These blood tests were done to confirm the doubts. Do not worry. You will conceive considering your age.

My friend is in ivf treatment. Currently she is in middle stage (embryo transfer done in the 2nd week of january 2023). She is taking trental 400 mg tablet regularly in the morning and night after food (as per doctor instruction from ivf clinic). She is getting vomiting after few hours (sometime in one hour or after 6 hours of tablet taken) and tablet (trental 400 mg) is coming out each and every time. I would like to know the tablet's real properties. Is it useful for ivf treatment? Or this particular tablet is used to create vomiting?

My ivf failed yesterday. I had transferred two 5 day blastocyst embryos with endometrial thickness of 12.3 and abundant blood flow in uterus. Still 14 days post transfer my hcg level was 0.08.what can be possible reason for such low hcg level?

It means there is no pregnancy and I am sure before undergoing ivf you must have known that success rate is about 40 % that means in about 60 % it fails. Another cycle can be done to improve result but never with surity.

My wife has done the iui process on saturday 11th feb. She is on dydrogesterone 10 thrice a day, ecosprin 75 at night, and one multivitamin supplement. The iui doctor asked to do a home pregnancy test on 27th feb. Today we did it but it came negative. The doctor asked us to stop dydrogesterone 10 and wait for a period. Is we have to wait for several days and perform test again or we have to stop immediately.

We have undergone the iui process on 11th feb. Now my wife suffering from little spotting of a brown or red color. Spotting occurs sometime and sometimes not. She is on progesterone 10 thrice a day, ecosprin 75 at night, and one multivitamin supplement. The iui doctor asked to do a home pregnancy test on 27th feb. Yesterday he scan her for a lining check, and he said the lining is fine. We check the home test at till now it's negative. Now, what are the causes of it, and how to treat it? Currently, my wife is 31 years old, and myself 34. We have previous 2 pregnancy histories one was a miscarriage at 10 weeks and one was an abortion at 3 months due to an omphalocele suggested in the scan. Before the iui process, we both have done hormone level tests, krotyping, and semen testing as the doctor suggested. All the reports are normal. Aborted baby karyotyping has also done that also normal. Interestingly, both these previous pregnancy spotting occur but after 6 weeks of pregnancy. At the time of iui process doctor has found some polystic but he is sure he treated that before to go iui process. Can you please guide us what to do ahead?

Hello sir
just like how a couple do not get pregnant every time they have intercourse, even if it is around the time of ovulation
the success of iui is around 15-20 percent max even in the best circumstances.

You have history of two miscarriages, so you and your partner will need some evaluation to try find a specific cause if possible.
Since you are 32 years and amh which tells us about ovarian reserve, is little lower- borderline, you must not ideally go for ovulation induction alone. Rather iui can be tried for upto 2-3 cycles .if not successful, can go ahead with ivf.

1) in this app your question does not reach to same doctor unless you are in private consultation with particular doctor.
2) best time to pregnancy test in case of iui is after 15 days after iui if no period by then and blood test serum hcg-beta is better.

I am 23 weeks pregnant through ivf (fet), icsi. I have already spent more than 3lacs. Now the doctor who did ivf is referring me to the most expensive hospital of my city for delivery. He afraid me that if I am going to any normal gynecologist or even any well known big government hospital of my city then they would not be able to handle the delivery as it is an ivf conceive. My family is not in condition of spending another 2-3 lacs. My question where I require a humble answer to is "is the ivf delivery different from normal delivery" would the other doctors even thh well know sskm hospital and calcutta medical college than who he is referring me to would not be able to handle the delivery.
