Sir, uterus is enlarged in size. A hypoechoic sol (3.814.26 cm) is seen in myometrium. Cervix appear clearly. Endometrium not clearly delineated. Uterus =6.499.79*5.13 cm. This hypoechoic sol was 1 cm before 7 months ago. Can you tell me surgery is needed or not? And is it dangerous?

1) it is sonologist who sees can opine whether it is fibroid.
2) if fibroid need of surgery depends on complaints.
3) examining gynecologist can have full picture in front of him/her to suggest.

ideally, it advised using minoxidil after 20-30 mins of dermarollers use. As when you use dermaroller it open ups micropores on your scalp. Sometimes using minoxidil immediately after roller might cause irritation. So if you feel more irritation.

Hi, I am currently 46 years old and have suffered from macular amyloidosis since I was a teenager. For many years it was a manageable but after the birth of my daughter 5.5 years ago the condition is definitely worse and has now spread to my face and also the itchiness has also become worse. I am 44. Diagnosed with adenomyosis. But since january 24 I had full flow of my period. Since then there are spots of blood on the pad but nit a full flow. When I wipe with the tissue there is dark red blood on it and it is more than what comes on the pad. What is causing this?

Adenomyosis has main two problems- extra bleeding at time of menstruation and pain during menstruation so if you have one of them or both meet Gynecologist

I am 39 years old with 2 kids (c-section). I am suffering from heavy bleeding since many years which affected my quality of life. Lately I was diagnosed with adenomyosis. I have already taken tablets (hormonal medicines) they reduced my bleeding but when I stop them after 3 months course the same problem arises. Doctor advised mirena iud. But after searching so many side effects of it I am worried. What should be done?

there are two options for adenomyosis treatment ,if family complete you can go for hysterectomy.if you want to conserve your uterus then go for mirena insertion.
for initial 2-3 months afyer mirena insertion you may have intermenstrual spotting and cramps .but after that periods will get regularized and BLEEDING will reduce significantly

44 yrs. Diagnosed with adenomyosis. History of arterial clot in right hand. Put on ponstan. For one day this month I had pink discharge and then on second day it was red blood on toilet paper for half an hour and then it stopped. Would this be a period. Lmp august 28. Stomach feels hard and having pain in stomach, on and offf dizziness. Underneath neck feels stiff. Is adenomyosis progressing?

Adenomyosis is a condition, which is not effectively treated by drugs.(including hormones) at the age of 44 if you have inter menstrual spotting or bleeding, better to get a d&c done by a gynecologist and wait for hpr. The treatment is to be scheduled only after precuring the report.

I am suffering from adenomyosis as I have very heavy bleeding for 2 days plus after periods I also suffer a lot with thigh pain and sometimes frequent urination which has affected my quality of life. Doctor has advised for mirena iud insertion. But there are a lot of horror stories about mirena and its side effects. please suggest is it a wise decision.
