Dear lybrate user. I can understand. Smoking 3 cigarettes daily or 5 for that matter is no addiction. I sincerely feel you can simply quit smoking with your will power. There are many other methods like deaddiction therapy. But nothing works better than will power. I suggest online motivation counselling. Take care.

Smoking can affect your mouth, throat, lungs, heart, stomach and brain in many ways. Cancer is one among the potential diseases smoking can cause. The best method is to leave it and continue with your will power. There are other methods like Nicotine Replacement therapy and pharmacotherapy combined. Stop smoking and chew a bubble gum and take symptomatic treatment for withdrawal symptoms and plan to take injection vitcofol after clinical examination

What else you have tried. Try to cut down slowly not all of a sudden use substitute such as nicotine patches or nicotex 2 mg gum.

- remove all the articles associated with it like cigarettes, lighter, ash tray from your house or wherever else you keep them so that they are out of your reach when the urge is there

When you stop suddenly, you may get withdrawal symptoms like restlessness, irritability, lack of concentration, increased hunger, sleep disturbance, headache, impatience, anxiety, depression, etc. If you have them please don’t get back to smoking, take nicotine gum or lozenge or patch. They are available in all medical shops. You don’t need a prescription from doctors.
