from the fact that you quickly became hypothyroid after carbimazole it looks like the underlying problem may be an autoimmune thyroiditis or subacute thyroiditis .please check tpo antibodies and inform results

According to present study thyroid functions improve in hypothyroid patients doing regular physical exercise, as tsh levels decreased, and t3 and t4 increased in regular exercise group. Exercising increases metabolic activity, which helps burn more calories and helps keep weight down.

1.avoid – food high in iodine, such as seafood, iodised salt, eggs, curd, and milk.
2. Eat cabbage, cauliflower and broccoli, preferably raw. Green leafy vegetables like mustard greens, spinach. U have to take medicine ,only diet will not cure it.
