Hello, thanks for the query.
I have seen the details given. Her tsh level is definitely lower than lab limit mentioned. Hence, it is better if dosage is reduced by 12.5 mcg to 112.5 mcg per day. Please remember after reducing the dosage (after every dosage change) there is need to check thyroid profile after 6 to 8 weeks to see if the desired change is achieved. In a well controlled patient tsh should remain around 2 to3 or 4 mu/l and t4 in normal range. If you have any questions please do c...more

lybrate-user ji, there is nothing to worry about. You can cure thyroid and cholesterol with your lifestyle. There is no question of taking any tension in this. Change your lifestyle. Walk as much as you can in the morning, you don't have to oily eat for a second and also take out half an hour for yoga in the morning and evening.

Hello, thanks for the query.
I have seen the details given. From that it is clear that your tsh is now with in required limits. Which suggests that current dosage is absolutely correct. So please continue the same. Reduction of the dosage is to be looked at when tsh value goes below 1 or 0.5 mu/l. You can check the profile once is 3 to 4 months to see if everything is in order. Thanks.

To be honest, one injection will mostly not cure the illness. Ankylosing spondylitis can be a disabling condition leading to many problems. You will need physical therapy along with other medication as well as clinical assessment and other blood investigations. The duration of treatment will ultimately depend on the disease severity which will be clear if you consult an orthopaedician/rheumatologist for the same.
