Paralysis after stroke is common, physiotherspy is the best way to get back to normal, you should have gone with it at the first only.
Now also your mother can get back to normal but will take some time.
Through stimulator and exercises the movements of muscles will be done which helps reduce some weight and the patient will be able to walk slowly in a month on her own.
Consult with best available physiotherapist near you for treatment.
