R kidney- measure 8.2x3.1 cm. Increased cortical echogenicity & altered echotexture. Cm differentiation is lost. A 26x12 mm right pelv-ureteric junction calculus is noted with proximal mild hydronephrosis.

Does fever occur if someone is having mild hydronephrosis? The fever is increasing if im taking antibiotics and paracetamol? All my blood reports hrctscanand urine reports r coming normal and fine. Then what is the cause of my fever?

The fever does not necessarily have to be because of the hydronephrosis. It is a possibility but as you said your reports are showing normal hence it could be another cause. Also are you asking if your fever will increase or are you saying that the fever increases with para and antibiotics?

It is true to say that due to low water intake, stones have formed and due to fatty liver hepatomegaly occurred. Being a vegetarian or non-alcohoic is not a protection against diseases.

I have done my urography test and report is as under: - Plain x-ray: A hyperdense calculus is seen in the right renal pelvis of size 17*13 mm. IVP – 50ml of non-ionic contrast was injected intravenously and sequential films were taken. Both kidneys are normal size, shaped and position. Both kidneys show simultaneous and contract excretion. Left renal pervicalyceal system appears normal with no evidence of hydronephrosis. Right renal pervicealyceal system shows grade II hydronephrosis. Both ureters appear normal in course and calibre. No obvious intraluminal filling defect or stenosis is seen. No evidence of hydroureter is seen. The bladder is normal in size, shape and position. No obvious intraluminal filling defect is seen. No significant post-void residue is seen. Patient tolerated procedure well with no post procedure complication. Impression – Right renal perviureteric junction calculus with grade II hydronephrosis. Please guide us, what we do the next.

Dear user. Such a large stone is unlikely to pass on its own. You might require surgical removal of stone. Please take proper consultation.

I had 16mm ureteric stone in left side. It has been removed through surgery surgery on August 2015. After one month stent has been removed. Ultrasound scanning shows no stone fragments and no hydronephrosis. Urine routine test also normal. Still I am getting dull pain. Why.

Recently, I had Ultrasound for my abdomen. The findings are 1. Enlarged Prostate (36 cc) 2. Mild Hydronephrosis in both kidneys 3. Polyp in Gall Bladder (3.2x2. 95 mm). Shall I go for Gall Bladder removal? Or kidney/prostate surgery first in terms of criticality.

There is no need to go for fb removal. You have to treat prostate first. You can take a trial of urimax-d for few days if your cardiologist allow you. Or you can get turp done after holding aspirin and clopidogrel for few days. For gb polyp you have to get usg abdomen done regularly at every 3-6 mnths and if size increases upto 10 mm or it increases in number (more than 3) then laproscopic removal should be planned.
