Hello Doctor, My friend done HPV test and it is positive. Earlier (about 20 days before) she was suffering with a vaginal cyst and doctor did a immediate operation of this. Can you please tell me that if this virus is present in the body that is 100% cervical cancer or it may be any other reasons also to present this virus.

hi if HPV is positive then you need to monitor 6-12monthly for cervical cancer, if HPV is positive then it doesn't mean that it is 100% risk of cervical cancer.
it depends upon strain of HPV and associate risk factors.

I had unprotected oral sex a couple of time. I earlier diagnosed with urine infection as some discharge was coming out of my penis. That problem was cured. Now I have seen some growth on my penis head under the foreskin. Some kind of lump just close to the area where skin is attached to the penis. Both the infections can be prevented. Both are viral infection by different viruses. Treatment is available but not curable.

Helo sir. I am 29 years old. I did unprotected sex with multiple partners 1 years ago and got HPV then after 3 months (approx. 100days) from last exposure I had given HIV Elisa test, VDRL and found negative. As I am going to marry now. I am bit worried about is this need to HIV test again and also need to test for hepatitis B or not. I am sexually active but using condoms evey time. Kindly suggest me to is this need for HIV test now?

Some times HIV test is negative if it is done immediately after exposure. It becomes positive between 2-4 months after exposure. Repeat HIV, Hepatitis B and VDRL test for confirmation

Hello sir. Good to know that your hiv is under control. You will need to continue to take art as long as you live, as of now. In future if any cure is found that will be a game changer. There are better options than viraday now. As long as your vl is undetectable and cd4 is in the normal range the ois remain under check and also non oi conditions.
