It is very easy to quit if your body is not demanding it, and as you say it is more of a mental need. Nicotine pestile and chewing gum available. Try that and don't smoke. If it's not helping we can go for medication.

Dear Himanshu,
Congratulations for your decision of leaving smoking.
Nicotine in cigarettes make the bowels move. So, if you leave smoking, you maynot pass motion freely or constipated. It is a common withdrawal symptom.
If you persist not to smoke for 12 weeks, it will disappear and you will be able to pass motion freely. Till then take some purgative daily at night.
Luckily you don't have other withdrawal symptoms to keep using cigarettes. All the best.

Simply engage mind in better activities like reading, hearing nice talks or music and keeping mind busy in services. Eating vegetarian foods and fruits and drinking cow's milk in night before sleeping also helps.

You should take proper homoeopathic treatment.
It is not that by taking the medicine only you will be able to stop it.
The major role is played by your will to leave the habit.
Otherwise no medicine will work.
You can consult me at Lybrate for homoeopathic treatment.
